Adventure on the Ocean

Adventure on the Ocean by Ella-Rose

A long time ago...there were three friends. their names were Summer Hammond, Jasmine Smith and Ellie Mcdonald. The three of them found three charm necklaces in their favourite colours, green for Ellie, velvet purple for Jasmine and silver gold for Summer. Those necklaces weren’t any ordinary necklaces, they were magic ones that take them across the ocean.

They had to try and stop a queen who was mean that wanted to take over and rule the ocean instead of her brother, King Merry. They didn’t get along well at all because the Queen, Queen Malice, wanted to rule like I said. The three girls had to travel on a boat in a big storm. The boat sank, luckily the girls didn’t drown. Just to tell you Queen Malice is afraid of the dark! She would only sleep with a night light when she was little.

My Speech

We have been learning about speeches.
Here is my speech:

Introduction
I would like to tell you three facts why schools shouldn’t give homework.
Argument 1
Children should choose what they want to do instead of teachers because children can choose not to do homework.Did you know that children all over the world don’t learn by homework because if they already know it, it is a waste of learning.
Argument 2
Homework is a burden it takes up lots of time. Children shouldn’t do homework because children should be able to enjoy time with family.
Argument 3
Children should be able to play after school instead of doing homework because then they need to rest there brian from learning.
Conclusion
Thank you for coming to  my speech about why schools shouldn’t give homework.

Here is a video of me reading my speech:
